REQUEST A QUOTE BY WEBBAY

Privacy Policy

1. Who is responsible

Request a Quote by WebBay, also called CartRFQ, is provided by Daniel Domżalski, trading as WebBay, Sętal 21E, 11-001 Sętal, Poland (Polish tax ID 9840186945). You can reach us at contact@webbay.pl. This policy covers the app and our handling of app-related enquiries.

The merchant is the controller for its customers’ quote requests, offers and sales. WebBay processes those records on the merchant’s behalf to provide CartRFQ. WebBay is the controller for the information it uses for its own relationship with merchants, support administration, security and legal obligations. Wix separately explains its responsibilities for Wix accounts, the App Market and its own services in the Wix Privacy Policy.

2. What information CartRFQ handles

The request form identifies the information it requires to submit a request. If you omit required information, the merchant may be unable to receive or respond to it. Avoid including sensitive or unnecessary personal information in messages or notes.

3. Why we process data and on what basis

On the merchant’s instructions, CartRFQ collects requests, prepares and delivers offers, records communications and decisions, and supports Wix Orders and payment status where enabled. The merchant determines the lawful basis for its processing and explains it in its own privacy notice. A transactional notification about a quote does not grant permission to send marketing messages.

Where WebBay acts as controller, it processes information to provide the contracted service or respond to steps requested before contracting, where applicable. It relies on legitimate interests to respond to business enquiries, administer relationships with merchant staff, diagnose problems, and protect the service against abuse, subject to the rights of the people concerned. It processes information where required by law. Where a feature requires consent, the applicable consent rules govern that feature.

4. Who receives data and where it is processed

CartRFQ uses Wix hosting and app data collections. Its integrations use Wix services for transactional email, notifications, automations and, where enabled, contacts, orders and payments. Authorised merchant staff can access records for their own store. A customer receives access to the offer through its private link. For customer payments, recipients can include the payment provider the merchant configures in Wix. The merchant’s provider and the merchant’s own notices explain the handling of payment details.

Wix and its providers can process data internationally. For transfers subject to the GDPR, the applicable parties must use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses where applicable. Wix describes its safeguards and service providers in its privacy notice and subprocessor list. Contact WebBay for information about safeguards relevant to processing we control or carry out for your store.

5. Storage, retention and deletion

Requests, quotes, sent versions and interactions are stored in Wix app data collections for the merchant’s installation. We retain data we control for as long as needed for the purposes described here. The criteria include whether the service or support case is active, whether records are needed to resolve a dispute or protect the service, and whether law requires preservation. For data handled on a merchant’s behalf, the merchant’s instructions and applicable law govern retention.

Offer links can expire or be revoked. This limits access and does not by itself delete the underlying offer or history. Uninstalling the app is not a request to erase all app data. Copies in Wix Orders, contacts, billing, email or other connected services can have separate retention rules. To request deletion or obtain a copy, follow the contact process below. Erasure is subject to applicable legal exceptions and any independent obligations to preserve records.

6. Security and browser storage

CartRFQ checks the Wix site and installation context, applies server-side access controls and validates private quote links. Keep links confidential and restrict staff access to those who need it. Some dashboard preferences are stored in the browser. Wix and the merchant’s site may use cookies or similar technologies for sessions, preferences and other features under their own notices and settings. For choices about non-essential technologies on a merchant site, use the controls provided on that site.

7. Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict its processing, receive a portable copy where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent where processing relies on it, without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may complain to your local supervisory authority or, for processing for which WebBay is responsible, to the Polish Personal Data Protection Office.

For a customer request or offer, contact the merchant first. WebBay can help the merchant identify the records it controls and handle your request. For information WebBay controls, email contact@webbay.pl. Include the store address, your relationship to the request and the right you want to exercise. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and will respond within the applicable legal period. Please keep passwords, card details and private offer links out of your message.

8. Changes and contact

We publish updates on this page and change the date above. Where required, we will notify affected people of material changes. For app-related privacy questions, write to contact@webbay.pl. See also our Terms & Conditions.
